As I thought it would be but I have not done it or seen it done so I was waiting for someone else to say. It still leaves me in a bind. Camo, I'll send you a PM at some point however I doubt the info I could enclose in it would either get us any closer of but any doubt in the mind that it should be higher. We (Roughy, Myself John and I assume Chris from speaking with him) agreed that it had to be a model year deal as other older trucks have done the same thing however maybe newer trucks may have done the same.

I'd be curious to know what he is running (if you want to pm me) to see how much in reality he is with the parts he is running on that engine. I'd be happy to share my experiences with parts and blah blah blah.


Its been said many time that the 555 motor in the 03/04 truck make more power than the 600 series motor by many people take John from floor it or Barry from NADP both like the older motor better. For proof just look at the fastest common rail out there 10.48 its an 04 truck 555 motor, I hate to say this but NGM's truck runs high 10's low 11's it's the same motor. John 03 pulling truck will prove this next year just watch, GWoody's truck is an 04.5 and will not put any power down either so I don't really think is the 555 motor. Just my .2 cents though.

You gave Wade credit, now everyone will be sworming all over that...LOL

I'm not saying these motors can't make the power, though I don't think it was aimed at me, but the dyno more or less. You were the Chris and John even said that it just didn't feel like it was loading the rollers like it should. Whether it has something to do with the motor or ABS is something I'm definately not arguing.

As I said, you were there. He hit the nitrous and dropped 9hp? Now I know he said he didn't have a pressure gauge but he said they were good so I highly doubt shooting nitrous is going to loose you hp however with it I did see what John meant by it wasn't trying to load the dyno.

Now I'm not trying to shoot you down Chris with your 662, as I said that was a great number but we all agreed that it should be higher thanks yours. You heading up to Floor-It today?
 
This past weekend, KevinO had a similiar issue, his 04.5 was on Johns dyno and could only muster up high 400's when he has the EXACT mods as me plus stage 2 CP3 (but no injectors)

Keep in mind mine (250hp SO) did 604 on johns dyno, but yet this 325HP HO could not break 500????? The truck died off after 2600 rpms, yet on the street the truck absolutely gets with it till 3200rpm. It makes no sense.

I found another Dyno Dynamics dyno 45 minutes away and I hope Kevin will be there to get this truck in this one - if he gets different result, well then something aint right here.

My truck carried the HP right to redline, in fact made max HP at 3000+ rpm, yet his made 480 at 2700rpm, then less than 200 by 3100 - I will have him remove the ABS fuse when he gets on this other DYNODYNAMICS dyno
