Most people that have read this feel the same. Yet Creed1 certainly doesn't. Apparently the money means more than his reputation. When he put up the ad back in Feb. it said low miles. When I get it the unit looks like 150,000 miles. When I question him about it he says its got about 15,000 miles on a rebuild. WTF. He calls me this Tuesday nite and says I'll call you tomorrow. Guess what? Tomorrow comes and goes but no phone call. Now there's a surprise. Now he says he doesn't know if he wants to deal with me anymore. WTF. 2 1/2 months since the last time he was going to "I'll call you tomorrow". Now thats what I call dealing with me. It looks like the people from Wisconsin will do the right thing when pressured. Now that right there is funny. Of course you guys know I did this to provoke you or start a fire as it were. You guys have all agreed that I should get my money back and Creed get his GV back. Now if the shoe was on the other foot and it was your money and he was in my state I'd hound him unmercifully. If he didn't make it right he'd earn every last dime from the aggravation I'd pile on him. I would appreciate some help.
 
O ok I didn't understand where you were coming from on your last post. I'd love to help ya out but creed lives pretty far from where I roam around. If I see him at a event I will be sure to ask him what is the deal. I dunno if he's goin to crandal or not.
 
Kinda hard to jump on a friend because of something going on with him and another person. He's done nothing but help me whenever I need it. Gave me a swb tank plate to fish plate my frame and other odds and ends throughout the year.
 
I guess its all good as long as your friend just robs all of the houses in the neighborhood and not yours. Who knows maybe with a friend like that you can get a free tv or fridge out of the deal.:lolly:

Jim you should of had your money back long ago, this GREEDY1 is an out right thief no matter what state he's from. You could try the ole ( Jimbeaux gets hosed approach ). Seen on another post the whole Comp D posse jumped on that guy, that was pretty much anything goes there. I know you don't like the cheerleading but after all this time I had to speak up. So all you guys in GREEDY1's area should remind him this is Labor Day and Jim had to work hard for the money you PHUCKED him out of. Thanks Steve B.
 
I wouldn't recommend anyone do business with him that for sure. I've seen he has ripped of many others elsewhere on the other end of things. Buys a part, says its broke, and sends back a different one and keeps the "broken" part he bought. I would man up and make it right if I were you. Its not like your out anything.

I agree Steve. If he attends Crandall, myself along with others will remind him what a phucking tool he is.

I've known Lucky Dog for several years.... he's not the easiest to look at, but he is an honorable man, & a real contributor to the sport. Many others on here will also refrence his charicter.

I'll bet Jim would even be willing to cover shipping at this point....?

Never got to meet him...I guess he was looking kinda for me at the National Trails race, but I was busy......

But, I've seen his tailgate quite a few times:D...and have never heard a single person that has a bad word to say about him.

edit: Not trying to get into the middle of this, but we've all been "had" before I'm sure. Doubt you'll get any money back from the seller. I don't think he meant to sell you the unit as something it wasn't. In his words it was working for him and he had no knowledge that is wasn't intended for what it was being used for. Truth or not that's his side. My suggestion is that you agree to disagree and cut your losses. You may have some luck selling it as what it actually is and at least get part of your losses back.

I wasn't trying to be a dick, it just doesn't look like you're going to get your money back. If the guy doesn't care enough about his reputation to make it right; what should you do? My post was only a suggestion. You could get at least some of your money back, whether you've "thought of that before" or not. Sorry if I offended you.
