Cummins 6bt piston to wall clearance? and hone finish?

I got a customers cummins 6bt in for a deck bore and hone 0.020 over my book says the standard bore is 4.016 and i have seen the internet is is 4.020? the piston measures 4.030 do cummins have 0.006 or 0.010 clearance? and what is the final grit finish on the bore? im looking up and seeing a 280 grit. thanks for any input! -Eric
 
Yes they do. 4.036 would be standard .020 over. Max Cummins spec would be 4.040 and we run that in performance builds to help with piston swell
