Does anyone have a link to the Dyno Video that was posted on Pulloff.com a week or so ago.. of at 5.9L blowning the block in half on the dyno.. it was a single turbo that blew the top half of the block and head completely off..
Jake has his site down for a few day for his fund raiser drive.. It wasn't on youtube.. I just can't remember the site.
Thanks,
Bryan

Was it on the engine dyno? It is on youtube and has been posted on here, I would have to find it back, gimmie a few.

Yes.. that is it.. sorry.. I guess it was on youtube.. it must have been linked throught another site I was on..

That's a classic... but it sure would be sickening..

I sure thing it must have been sleeved big to come apart like that with only a single turbo.. but you don't see any sleeves in the picture.. usually you can see them come out with the top of the block...

Maybe it was just the head that came off.. but it looked like more.. especially with the pump coming off like that...
Sorry if this a repeat thread...

I wondered why my engine was taking so long to get finished...:lolly:

Bad day for sure... glad it wasn't mine

The guys name is Matt Conrad (Never Let it Rest) its a 3.0 truck. Haven't talked to him to see what actually caused it. I don't know much about dynoing engine's but it sounded like they were loading it extremly hard. To hard maybe is that possible? IDK

they looked like they loaded it just like a sled pull run.

Once the charger lit and is going down the track ill bet that the rpms don't drop 3-400 rpm at most. In the dyno video it sounds like they keep loading it harder and harder and the rpms never really increase like they should until it blows. On the track once your tires are spinning ill bet that the load is less than the dyno. That is just my uneducated assumption ive been wrong many many times before.

i have been on tracks that just snuffed out the truck, never really spun out. but most do just end with a slow spin at the end.
