Custom dash in a first gen, how to do it?

Holy crap, drop-in aluminum dashes for the first gen? Hubba hubba. I don't believe they'll actually ship to my house for $30 but if they do that seems like a clear winner. My stock dash is getting to be more JB Weld than original plastic at this point.

I'm thinking to get that aluminum dash, keep the tach on top since that is stock for a first gen: $300
Use a GPS speedo for one of the big holes: $200
Use a quad gauge (voltage, fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temp) for another of the big holes: $400
And then I got four little holes left for:
EGT
Boost
Transmission Temp
Bonus Gauge (Case pressure? Fuel pressure? Back pressure?)

NVU would be my vote. That's nice to know they have a drop in kit for these trucks.

So their aluminum and carbon fiber dashes are really just "5/32 ABS plastic" with a finish on them.

I wonder if I want the faux aluminum or just get the bare plastic one and rattle can it? I don't really like faux anything.

I have a set of nvu gauges in my 71c10. they work real nice. took a bit to wire them up, but thats ok.
