The stamped 1/4 plate that is there for the engine crossmember is one heavy piece.

It said thanks. Said it was tired of using so much metal for what something lighter and more structurally sound could do.

I would like to hope for 4000lbs. Don't know what it will weigh. no one has cut this much out before. Not that I know of.

Im working on a skinny driver. He weighs like 150. Beats me by 110lbs.

New crossmember is 4x2 mandrel bent box tubing. Why would you say that?

I'm trying to be funny...:bang
I just pictured the truck twisting the front end to the point of 1 wheel off the ground by 8 inches, while the other is still planted on the ground.

Didn't mean to slam your project, if thats the way you took it...

With the slicks in the back I dont think the fronts will be on the ground.

I'm sure you could pay someone to build it faster than I could get it done.

Thats why you are on the ball with this project..John is paying you to build his truck..He is signing the checks and riding yo ass...:hehe:
