I dont remember the ring gear tq but the four carrier bolts is 80 ft lbs.
I cant hardly tell. It looked at first like it was welded then it didnt look like it. Its just real shiny on my computer. If its not welded you could throw a lockright in place of those spiders and run that.
I see what you are talkin about in the second picture but i cant make out the specifics in the third on other than its of the splines. Its just a real close up blurry pic for me. I would say he twisted some axles off before.. Technically it shouldnt hurt anything
long story short rear end was making a noise,so got it on jack stands and turned it by hand nd it was binding, so pulled axles out to make sure wasn't a sticking break. Well tore rear end cover to find a piece of weld or old gears stuck between the ring gear and carrier. The previous owner said he just put a axle and ring and pinon in it.
House that carrier was in a pro street a couple years back and i know of at least a 2 axle that snaped in it plus one of my own and that last one that you broke
