Look like a very informative seminar. Too bad you guys are in Texas.:doh:

Dave does seminars all over the country. I'll try to see if I can get a list of his schedule for you!

I wish I could make this seminar! I've always wanted to go to one of his seminars. Maybe Painless can ask for some ISSPRO Engineering support at this event, so I can come down on the company? ;)

Regards,
Michael Pliska

Micheal, It would be great to have you here. I know you and I have talked a little when you guys were going to work with us earlier this year on some new stuff. Hey you could always talk Isspro into the custom gauges that are going to go in my car! Its for the Ronnie Sox Foundation and for Autism awareness!

how late can we register? I have stuff all around the 22nd but nothing on that day (yet)

You don't have to register but it is highly prefered. We are going to be providing lunch and want to make sure that we get enough food! It will also help me cover Dave's travel expenses and lodging.

Would this seminar be recommended for beginners that no practically nothing about chassis/suspension set-up? :doh: :D

There will be a little that would be over your head but if you have any idea about any thing on suspension then this will really help understand all the fundamentals. It certainly wouldn't hurt! A lot of the theory is going to be taken out and set up so that its more understandable by real world situations.

Shoot, i know nothing and would love to go.

Got anything around Indy, cincy or Louisville area???

FireMed, I don't know right now but I would have to say that there will be a class in one of those cities. Dave is still working on his schedule but will send it to me as soon as he gets it done.

Here is some more info.

"Dave Morgan Saved Me a Bunch of Money" (Tex Ooten, Norwalk, Ohio)
* Racers are learning the value of Dave Morgan's knowledge
* New Setup Workshops to begin this year
* Seminar registration information at the end of the announcement

Okay, okay, I understand this is a weird year. The economy is a mess, gas prices are high and the country seems to be lacking a sense of direction. All this makes your racing future seem less certain, right?
So what are you going to do?
Stop racing?
Forget your passion?
Slip away from the sport you love?
NO WAY!

You’re going to get smarter about your drag racing program and ride out these rough waves.
I'm here to help you improve your program. In fact, I've always tried to be available to help Sportsman drag racers gain knowledge, improve their win/run ratio and their cost/run ratio. For nearly four decades, my focus has been aimed at helping drag racers succeed at their passion.

Take the Ooten brothers for example...
Tex Ooten and his brother, Greg, attended one of my seminars in Lima, Ohio. Greg had just finished a '69 Javelin and Tex was building a '70 AMX. Both brothers gained from my seminar. Greg reduced his development time and quickly made his car competitive. Tex learned ways to streamline his building project, saving money and time.
Here's your chance to improve your racing project and save money.

I've expanded the topics to include front suspensions because drag racers are beginning to understand just how important the front suspension is. All the interest has been in the rear suspension so they can hook the car up, but now they realize they have to control the car after the launch. That's when the inter-relationships between the front and rear suspensions come into play.
Adding the extra content will be tricky as the seminar is already packed with information. My plan is to tighten-up on the chassis structure presentation and to streamline the shock and spring presentation.
This is the 13th winter that I've been offering seminars to the drag racing public. My presentation is designed for older people, those who have not been to school in years. That being said, the seminar is intense so I recommend all students to get a good night's rest before the seminar and have a good breakfast before attending. A long drive before the seminar will only make students tired and then they'll begin to miss parts of the fast-moving seminar.

SETUP WORKSHOPS:
In selected locations, I'll teach racers how to setup a chassis using actual cars. Racers will get a chance to learn these techniques in a hands-on environment. This is an embrionic program so if you have questions, please call me at 567/242-9779. In the workshops we will...

* Establish corner weights with springs and ballast
* Locate the Center of Gravity
* Map Instant Centers
* Square the rearend
* Align the front end

MORE TESTIMONIALS:
"It is almost unheard of these days for someone to offer this much knowledge and experience for such a bargain price. What would take many years of trial and error at thousands of dollars cost can be learned in a day with clear and concise explanations and demonstrations. I highly recommend anyone needing a direct path to a better understanding of how to diagnose and solve their car set-up to enroll in the nearest available Dave Morgan Seminar ASAP."
Mike Peters, Wichita, Kansas

"I always refer back to your Dave's book and the things he has taught me, everytime something isnt making sense. Pro Mod cars are very tricky, the difference between fast and junk is so small in some cases! The problems are usually woven together with other problems... crazy! I do love the challenge of it though.
Randy Minadeo, Cleveland, Ohio

"It was an honor to have Dave in the same room as me. It was quite a thrill to have the opportunity to talk with him. He gave me a rekindled inspiration to correct my car."
John Carter, Grand Bend, Canada

"Dave Morgan is years ahead of his time because he's so willing to help racers with their suspension problems. I honestly believe that he is the best at what he does."
Gary Reese, Chassis Builder from Sheffield Lake, Ohio

"Before I went to Dave's seminar, I was afraid to even touch my ladder bar rear suspension. Since then, I have gone through the car and picked up two-tenths in the quarter, improved my 60-foot times and my reaction times are killer. I am no longer afraid to tune on my suspension and I'm bringing home a lot more round money."
John Wooley, Reynolds, Ga.

"I had a pretty violent Altered that I ran at Beaver Springs Dragway. Not only did Dave show me how to calm the car down and go straight, I learned a ton about fourlinks. After that, I was voted 'Most Improved Driver' at Beaver Springs Dragway."
Scott Richenbach, Lebanon, Pa.
,
"I had a pretty unique combination and I think going to Dave's seminar shortened the time it took to sort out the car. He has a unique ability to draw pictures in your mind, and then make them move. I think he's the best teacher in drag racing."
Tony Melvedt, Concord, NC
