Dayton Ohio Dyno Day

I have an engine misfire, i think it may be an injector but im not sure, i spoke with woodruff and josh was thinking it could be from carbon deposits on top of the pistons because i have noticed 2 times now that if i run it real hard for 10 min or so it has gone away for a few days, but it always seems to come back.

problem

do you need a set of injectors to swap? i can see if i can get ahold of a set from a friend.

i think when i pull them out i am just going to take them to woodruff and have them tested, pop pressure checked so on and so forth. But what he was saying about the carbon deposits make since, but the only way i was able to clean it out and for the miss to go away was when i had to pull a friend out of his muddy field and had to run it hard. Thanks for the offer though

dyno day

well, it looks as if it should be a nice day sunny and in the 70's. kind of worried after the cold rain for the last couple days.

Not gonna make it...S480 bit the big one.

Saturday will be tear down and fab day for the new charger(s?)

Man I wish my charger hadn't popped...I finally could have been one of the higher power trucks at a dyno day:(

Pretty decent numbers laid down!

chris you still could've come and hung out there were alot of guys that just came and watched and ate food. we had alot of good fun and good conversation about trucks. we will set up another day. whenever we have the dyno out ill post up and anyone in the area come down. or call the shop and he will make a appointment and pull the dyno out and run 1 truck or as many as you have. he is really laid back guy that loves diesels. but makes most of his money with the GM stuff vette's camaro's ta's gto's.

We decided to go racing instead. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alyOuQlnBeM

But looks like we could have taken High HP if we would have come, unless it was reading a lot lower numbers than what's accurate.

no its accurate just mostly stock turbo trucks not alot done to most of them. but they all ran well. i think clay was the only one that had upgraded his turbo and that was a hx40. but good times with friends. definitely come down for the next one.

I would've come and hung out, but I was working on the truck...TS isn't far away:D

I'll bet I could make the next one!

I'd like to, I really want to see a difference on the dyno between the Drag comp and Drag Comp/EZ stack.

We had a truck go from 13.1 to 12.7 at the drag strip just by adding the EZ.

He made 3 passes in the low 13's with just he Comp, added the EZ and made 3 more in the high 12's. Has to be at least 30HP difference.
