Dedicated Race Only Rigs?

The flat black is a pretty smart idea....I'm forever wipin' soot off the roof. And we are using that low soot formula Rotella...LOL

... The only problem is that you dont notice the soot and lean against it and then you look like an idiot. Just watch folks flop down on the tailgate of a truck with sacks.Gives you a case of the soot butt LOL

How bout a smokin' monkey butt? LOL

Jeff, I'm sorry, I have run your thread into the weeds LOL

I'm guilty too...time to redeem myself.

The paint on the bike is a 2 stage. Hot Rod black base with clearcoat. Yep....clearcoat. You add a matte agent to the clear to get the desired affect. We applied the pinstriping to the base black and cleared the whole shebang. Works great.

yeah yeah yeah a couple of monkeys asses:dead-horse-fast2: :dead-horse-fast2: :dead-horse-fast2: :dead-horse-fast2: :dead-horse-fast2: :dead-horse-fast2: :dead-horse-fast2: LOL LOL :woohoo:

Nice Pictures Jeff, the only thing your missin' in that jungle Gym is Tim's Monkey butt......LOL

We like a good strong chassis, so it'll last more than 200 runs and not get tired.... Plus remember its being built as a Pro Mod for Diesel Racing, not a converted ex-gasser truck.....:rules:

Its all Chromoly tubing- we'll scale it when Vanishing Point is done... It's liteweight.....:evil :woohoo:

I just put a request into Jim @ Vanishing Point to update me with some pics, They have been moving the old smaller shop into a shop that's more than double the size of the old one. . . . Same building location different space. I'll post em up ASAP .......

 June, the secretary over there at Vanishing Point is on vacation:doh: And she's the only one there that can figure out the postings and sendings of progress pics.:bang

Jim has pressed forward onto phase 2 of the build. And body mounting and modifications and tinning the truck out are a small part of phase 2....

The center bump in the hood is to be cut and extended up for clearance, Jim said it will extend up the windshield approximately 12-14 inches:rockwoot:

:woohoo: :woohoo:

Damn if this project aint taking so dang long.......:soap: LOL LOL Don't mind me I'm just anxious!:evil

That is one nice ride you got going there :ylsuper:
I am looking forward to seeing it run. By the time it is ready there should be a few other boys in the playground to play with :evil
I think I will just hang out back here in grade school and watch you big boys go at it
