My only point was I beat him at Goshen with a stock-internals Dmax, so a real 'built' Dmax is going to be plenty competitive in 2.6.
But if he had issues with his motor then we're talking apples and oranges and there's nothing of substance to argue about.
I kinda look for 2.6" wins to be more or less evenly split between makes, and some of the best competition will be in that class. The top spots may be within a few feet of each other, which is good for the sport IMHO.
But who knows....
