Dekalb super pull (Eaton Oh)

it wouldnt have mattered if he had won....if you dont abide by rules then you dont deserve the recognition. jmo

Pretty sure a dodge was in second! he was several feet ahead of gainer

You are correct. I believe Johnboy's point was that there were many Dmax's up in the top of 2.6 classes last season and those same Dmax's are planning on updating along with several others out there.

I dont see any threats of d-max in the 2.6 this year
The results do show him a couple feet in front of Gainer but he was not legal. I agree that the letting him hook then DQing was odd. But it does not matter because he was still behind Evan.:owned:

Are you Brandon?

If so, that's an interesting comment based on the last Goshen pull results.
That is him. Brandon Swanson. The week before that was not so great either.

Evan Davis 352.396
Ryan Milby 348.109
Brandon Swanson 347.1152

After Keystone I need to get that 2.6" cover finished up.

Ya i goshen i was running a little 2.5 charger, and both goshen and zanesville i had a melted piston and broken lifter

My only point was I beat him at Goshen with a stock-internals Dmax, so a real 'built' Dmax is going to be plenty competitive in 2.6.

But if he had issues with his motor then we're talking apples and oranges and there's nothing of substance to argue about.

I kinda look for 2.6" wins to be more or less evenly split between makes, and some of the best competition will be in that class. The top spots may be within a few feet of each other, which is good for the sport IMHO.

But who knows....

How do I know you? We've pulled against each other and carry on in here but I don't think we've shaken hands yet. I'm sure some time this summer I'll run into ya.

You are a wise man.

I think a wise man would stay away from the 2.6 class this year. I count 9 strong trucks just posting in this thread. I'm betting 1 or more of them will be at almost every pull we go to. Should make for some great pulling. :woohoo:

We may as well make it an even 10:hehe: Oh wait my truck aint that strong!:bang
