well, what can i say. another D.S.I. funday sunday event has come and gone. first off we would like to thank the people that help us with this event. shambo, and joe for bringing the grill and cooking up a storm of brauts, and burgers, and chicken. theye say an army travels on it's stomach and so do racers. great job guy's. we had one of our biggest turnouts to date. there was some stiff competition for the awards. neildon in the jetta won for best reaction time. but was consistantly beat out by hooker and the red dakoda. just goes to show ya, even a blind squirrel can find a nut every once in awhile . blake, in the blue dodge with the stacks. took home the win for being most consistant of the day. great job guy's we will post up picks with you and you'r awards soon.our very own k.lincoln blew off a downpipe at the 60 foot mark and still ran well. wrongway, from the one and only, southern diesel performance inc. in lakeland. stopped by to check out the action and food. nastycracker(brad) and wendy stopped by to check out the competition. and don lincoln and his lovely wife penn made a guest apperance with his 05 black propane inj dodge and had some good times.chrisco, in his white 24 valve was bending his shifter all day long, but couldn't talk the sexy jesse into a grudge match. he will need to sharpen his saleman skills for next time. and our fastest truck of the day was, you guessed it..... pete byron, of byron racing in the white out powerstroke running with nitros. thanks, pete. the check is in the mail.this was the last funday sunday of the yr. we are planning some special awards and incentives for next yr's schedule. from everyone at Diesel Specialists thanks, for coming out. it was a blast.:clap:

After 96,000 tuned miles and 50 something passes the powerjokes transmission was heart. She goes in for a rebuild in a couple of days.

She did get me home in under 3 hours. (Normal 2 1/2)

I can't say enough about how well this truck has treated me.

My best runs
RT .109
60' 1.81
1/8th 8.456 @79.24
1/4 13.41 @99.26

RT .193
60' 1.80
1/8th 8.453 @78.73
1/4 13.43 @98.65

If only it was an 1/8th mile contest.

quit changing you'r name, pete. glad you made it home. just think how much faster you will be when you get the new tranny in.

Hey guys, im the one in the white Amsoil t-shirt driving the grey 06. Nice meeting you all out there. I did forget my mag light though lol

were you the one idling... in the staging lanes with your girlfriend? Yea, we saw you in the backseat and wondered wtf was going on...

haha, ya she never left her front air vents lol I was having her push my rear slider window button open and shut as I flicked my brother a few birds in the black hemi.

I saw you hand it to someone Kurt as I was breaking down my tent. I have the same light and thought you took mine..but I found mine in my tool box.

On a side not. I had three ace clowns try to race me on the way home. An 05+ lifted with 24 on it, a chevy D max and a lifted 7.3. I saw these trucks at the track and wonder if they are on this forum. Next time you want to be cool, do it at the track and make sure I don't have a busted trans and I can go over 60 mph.

They pick on ya when you're down huh? I don't remember either of those trucks....lol
