The 08 has a thicker flange so u need longer bolts. Put one on my 05 when I had the rear end rebuilt.

i ordered mine from the link i shared...had the cover, hex-head bolts and
washers in 3days (and i didnt pay for anything but std. shipping)

ive heard that the dealer is getting almost 20 bucks per quart for their
"motorcraft" 75w140 synth (plus the cost of the friction modifier).

i bought the royal purple 75w140 (synth) lube at orielys for 9.99 per
quart (3 quarts required on refill)...oh and 4 bucks for a tube of
RTV form-a-gasket....SCREW the DEALER !
