Dmax at TS????

chasis dyno right. Dodge guys better be stepping up the power a little :-)

With the same size charger, the Cummins trucks are going to be hard pressed to make equal power to the Duramax's, IMO.

Should be an interesting year.

Jneals truck will be in the 2.6 class. I think itll be the first hook for it since all the winter work was done. Should be very interesting ;)

Yep myself and the Fleece crew will be there. I just read over the rules and have to make quite a few changes to be legal for 2.6 class. Gotta change out the turbo again, gotta swap out recievers, make a new pulling hitch for the new reciever, install traction bars straps, rear bumper and I think that's it.

???

are you guys having to run tranny blankets this year?

We have to run straps around the traction bars were the connect to the frame. That way if the bar or mount fails it won't dig into the ground and cause an accident.

No, I didn't see anything in the rules for 2.6 class about blankets on autos.

Most places base the blanket rule on 4500 rpm or higher.

You can run a roll pan instead of a bumper if you so choose. Went to the tech day and there was more than one with roll pans that passed tech. ;)

Yeah, the "commercially distributed" clause kinda makes you  when you've gone through the trouble of a custom one like yours even though it's still "reese style".

if i am not mistaken it is a 2.5 class. so all the 2.6 boys are going to have to move up a class:nail:

Yea, I misquoted it is 2.5 not 2.6 that's why I have to change turbos. Can't compete in the 2.8, not a chance.

If I'm not traveling for work I might be there. The truck is pretty much ready but I've been working on front end stuff and a sheet metal intake design. Everyone has the same combination as I do now so it's time to step it up again. Regardless...there should be some strong D-Maxes there. If the price on these rigs keeps climbing at this rate, I might as well build another pro-street car.

Can't go faster staying the same!

Not everyone has the same combo!:Cheer::shake:

Just cause you have turbo +1!!!LOL I could put twins on but then I have to build a new truck and engine around it$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I think we can still step up the 2.8 trucks but it takes time. I have other things going this year so the truck will become 2nd or 3rd on the list of projects.

Jerrod, you know that is a commercially available hitch. If you want I can make up a sticker with a name on it or something like that if you would like, then it would look much more like a "commercially available" receiver.
