Dmax question?????

Well i figure around the $10 mark for all the parts. I can put everything together myself. That should save a bunch. I have already taked to several mechine shops here in texas about balancing. And i am pritty sure i would get SoCal to do the head work. Seems like they might be the best. There is a tranny shop that we use for all our trannys. All i need to get is the clutches and what ever billet shafts i need and send it to him.

What cp3 is the best to run??? ppe/ats are the comon choices

yes and more socal diesel would be the guy to do that.

studs are needed as well. GUY can hook you up with a custom cam as well ~1000 for it.... from talking with him ~8000 will get you a built bottom end stock crank and fordge rods pistons, cam and bearings parts wise.
 
Are the bottom ends on these dmaxes not as tough as the cummins? Im just askin I have an 02 dmax. Dont know if I wanna play with it at all if im gonna have to get into the internals.

no u would need rods to run twin cp3 with a bigger turbo

Well put it this way i was very impressed with them and yes i have made up my mind but need to get a few irons out of the fire first. I was very impressed by Tazman10 truck. I was at the end of the track when he was shutting it down. Very good show and looking forward to getting everything going.
