We hear that Gale Banks and his team are not going to run the Type-R Truck this year because they know it will protested because of the illegal chassis they are using. Anyway for as big of a company as Banks is, they shouldn't be so scared to take chances... The Dr. Performance racing truck will be in Bonniville this year to take over not only the Banks record with the Type-R but drag racing also, and soon will build a land speed car. The funny part of all this, Dr. Performance is just a small business in a small town with just a few employees. If they can do as they plan to crush all of Banks' records, that got to be very degrading to Gale and his crew... :thankyou2:

Banks/DP are competing to have the world’s quickest diesel truck? No, Banks has the world quickest diesel truck which Dr. P used to have. We we’re in Vegas at the same event on the same day and offered you guys a match race and you declined. You put your truck on the trailer Alex. What part of that do you not understand? Pretty confident for somebody whose truck (5-6 years old) was shown up by a truck running at its first real event ever? Your guys are going to build a road race truck to race ours? Sounds good. Dude, did you inject some of Roger Clemens steroids this morning? Does Charlie know you’re making these guarantees? Before you guarantee that you will break our 6 year old diesel record at Bonneville, you need to learn how to spell the world “Bonneville”.

Don’t try to make excuses for your truck being beat by saying that Dr. P. is a small company with a few employees and that Banks is big and so on. The owners of your company have deep pockets and you know that to be a fact. How the hell else would they be able to pay for all the projects DP is going to be building/running this year? You sound like you just got caught in a 5 hour conversation with Hogue doing some wishful thinking. The one thing you might win is the award for “Best Bench Racer”.
Why don’t you start by showing up at the events you said you we’re going to show up at (first diesel event of the year NADM and NHRA in Vegas on 4-10). It’s funny that you’re backing out. Come race us for the $10,000. Hell, it’s a good thing for some charity out there.
