Drilled my tubes today!

Like to get my truck to lope at an idle ? Any tricks i can do ?

Remove Valve cover, clip orange wire, blue wire and green wire. Install New high temp glue for valve cover not to blow off due to power. Then install electric tape over check engine light so no one will know its wurked

Or just drive it off a cliff and buy a horse. Then you can "lope" all you want. :hehe:

LOL that's a new one!

I have a funny, original thought every once in a while. LOL

It ain't a "goat," but here's how to lope.

Is this the only way to get a little more lope at idle ? I like the sound of some truck i hear that have a nice lope to them

I'll agree....some trucks.....very few...with just a TAD of lope sound good; However, you might want to drive one of them before you start to tinker. They really do suck to drive when they jump like that. Just my $.02.

If you want it to lope just install a foot cam yo! Heard they make your cummings lope like crazy!

This may sound stupid but why would you want your truck to lope??? We have some old tractors that lope when cold and they are a pain till warmed up. It doesn't sound like it would be cool to have your truck lope. All of the trucks I have and have had never loped.

Here is my truck, I tried for 4 years to get rid of its lope. Sucks in parking lots.

Damn that girl lopes hard....im not a 24v guy why does it lope ? I don't see lines in your sig

Here's mine with the 370s I had in it for a while. That old chassis didn't like the lope too much LOL

Also forgive my hood its changing soon!

That video was back when the truck was a VP. Believe it or not, but that lope needed up coming from too low of a stalled torque converter. I went through 3 sets of injectors and 4 different VP44's. It went away as soon as it got a higher stall converter.

Had the filters drilled out on my stock tubes. Loped like a ***** on a stock VP. Had a hrvp that loped. Sucked to drive. Drilled tubes and a hrvp was the worst. Sounded cool through the stacks though.

i agree it sounded cool...but not for long on my truck..specially cold idle..my 6 yr old loved it..but i hated to drive it and towing was impossible
