Dropping a 2wd 01

Who has dropped there 2wd dually and whos kit did you use? I’m looking to drop the back down level, and having a hard time finding a kit to do it.

I have been wanting to do this to mine but the only help I have gotten is to cut out some springs.
 
belltech only makes leveling kits for up to 00 year models, they don't know of anyone that might have a kit for an 01.........
 
I dont like 2wd that raise the front just doesnt seem right to me.

I want a "level'n" kit that I can still pull a boat or small trailer and not have to worry about anything. Anybody got any idea's?
 
I've got to run some errands in Fort Worth tomorrow. I'm going to go by 4 Wheel Parts and talk to them.

Let us know! I just want to level the back not drop it. Just somethin different. I think a 3"-4" drop would be pretty close?? What do yall think?
 
I put ground force lowering shackles on mine. Beware the kit they says fit does not fit on a 01 I had to drill bigger top holes and put spacers on the bottom to make it fit correctly. After 3 hours of beating and banging the finally went on. They were a 2" lowering shackle but put on it went from 39" from bottom of fender to 37 5/8 so about an inch and a half. It looks good now but make sure your shackle measures up and fits good.
 
Or better yet we can having a good ole fashion lower our truck day/weekend! Also There is the 1" block under the springs you can remove too.

Whenever, yall can come down and put them both on the racks and we can tear em up. It was a pain but looks good now.

Anna sorry I have not done the sponsor deal , my little girl is going to be here around the 30th of august so I wont be able to come. Although I would love to sponsor I just cant right now. Dont count me out on the next one though.

Yea we should plan a day to do ours! Anna I thought when I said that....that u were going to lower mine for me!

Anybody got any pics of what one leveled looks like?
 
I'm pretty sure all the leveled 01's on this site are 4x4.

Bear, you buy the beer and there's not alot of mechanic-ing i won't at least attempt.
