It had a 460 gas engine from the factory, now it has an International DT466. It's a work in progress, and it'll be completed as budget allows. The DT466 is in and running, but the truck is still pretty far from drivable. I still have a ton to do, but I think I'm far enough along to post a couple pictures.
For anyone interested...
The engine is a 1993 DT466 mechanical. I plan on an Eaton Fuller 10 speed Road Ranger Trans. I didn't cut the cab in any way to make it fit, but I built a custom core support, used an electric fan, and I'll need to build a custom grill. Also, I did not use any body lift, however I did some serious frame modification to make everything fit/work the way I wanted. I'm also extremely proud to say I have done every bit of the work myself, with the exception of rebuilding the injection pump, bending the new frame rail sections, and a few hoses I had made at the hydraulic shop. I have quite a few more pictures I can post if anyone is interested.

Well done!

Have to say that is a really cool swap and one heck of a tank!!!

Modifying the frame was the best way I could come up with to make everything work properly. The front engine mount crossmember, and rear engine mounts came out of an International medium duty truck. I had to make new spacer brackets, because the Ford frame is a few inches wider than the standard medium duty 34". Doing it this way eliminated the need for a ridiculous size body lift.

I'm not finished with the charge air cooler, I'm shortening up the in/out elbows. I don't have the equipment to weld aluminum, so it's at a welding shop now. Should come up a good 2.5-3", and sit just about even with the bottom of the radiator.

Very nice build! I really like the new frame section up front. That made things a lot better to work with and has a nice clean look. Great work!

Thanks for the complements.
I idea was to scale down the size of the frame the engine was designed to be in. It put the engine lower in relation to the cab, and in my opinion a good position in relation to the frame. It will require a somewhat tall suspension for oil pan clearance, but I like the lifted look anyway. I'm planning a 4 link up front with air springs, the rear suspension is undetermined other than it will also use air springs.

Thanks. Green Cove is my address, but I'm kinda out in nowhere. Are you east or west of Blanding?

Finally got my charge air cooler back from the welding shop. They did an excellent job shortening the elbows. I still have some adjustments to make, but it's close.
I sand blasted and primed my front axle housing. And I decided on a transfer case, and picked it up Sunday.

That transfer case looks up to the task. :) The intercooler looks nice. Is that an 05 up ford D60?

Yep, the D60 is from a 2008 f350. I've decided to scrap the 4 link idea in favor of a radius arm setup from a late model superduty. I want to be able to take it to a regular alignment shop, I doubt anybody would touch a home brew suspension. I do still plan to use air springs to deal with the added weight, and still maintain a nice ride.
The transfer case is an axletech t600. New old stock gov surplus, it's out of an mrap vehicle. It's bigger and stronger than any "light duty" case, but still much smaller and lighter than those fabco or other medium/heavy duty monsters. It's pretty cool, it seems it will function as AWD until locked into 4wd, there is a 70/30% rear favored differential with selectable lock up.

Wow, my bumper bracket looks crooked in that picture. Nothing is tight yet, so it probably is, but there must be a camera illusion adding to it. All that is getting cut down closer to the intercooler, but I had to start somewhere.

I had a local shop bend them. I measured the ford frame height where I wanted to cut it off, and had the new sections made to fit tight over the old. There is 2ft of overlap and 12, 1/2in bolts sandwiching it together...much stronger than a welded seam.

You can see the overlap in this picture, before I had all the bolt holes drilled.
