Dual Alternator Kit

are you trying to power a stereo or just want a dual alternator set up? i have a ohio generator alt that mounts in second alt position you would just need the brackets belts and pulley, its externally regulated and 200 amps hot, just have to run a isolated set up ( 2nd alt would charge stereo batts only) can not just add the 2nd alt like it is from factory because its a completely diff harness and computer controls that alt after glow plugs turn off.
 
Ford released a TSB and a write up on how to convert a single alt truck to a dual alt truck, its pretty easy and straightforward. It also details how to go from the duals to the single.

We gad a Tahoe from BAE here last week with dual 200 Amperes and a stocker running some High tech tracking stuff for DOD. Awesome waterjet brackets and CNC pullys.
 
The 6.0L stock pulleys are larger than the old 7.3L ones. The 2 stock units on a 6.0L are a 3G and 6G cased. There is an alternator shop down here that would swap out the fields to yield 200amp units. If you swapped the armature they said it would go to 300amp. But the life would be cut way down. Even if you have it moddified you still need to spin it fast enough to generate the 200amps. The 200 amp units will put out a slightly less amperage at idle speed.
