dual wheel conversion

all you have to have is the 2" spacers, run em on mine a couple times last year and am gettin another set together for this year. theres some spacers on ebay for a decent price i thought, around $120, just type in 2" dodge spacers, not sure of the quality but shouldnt be no prob for just pulling

a dualy rear is actaly narrower by i do beleave 4 in. so u shouldnt hit your leaf springs

that is wrong on a 3rd gen. I converted my truck a couple years back from a dually to a single and my rear end is about 3" wider overall than a single rear end. if there is somebody out there that would like to swap rears let me know I would be interested. I also have 4:10 gears in mine.

its too bad youre so far away. I have absolutely everything you need to convert your truck. I had an 01 pullin truck and now i have the needed spacers rims tires lugnuts etc to convert. located in Seymour, IN. anyone needing them let me know.. I should try to get them outta our shop.

ok I put 2" spacers on the axle, then bolted up the duals. I've heard their is no problem just pulling with the tires rubbing, but isn't that putting a lot of stress on the studs, when you suck the wheels up with the lugnuts forcing the tires together? Also the duals are not on the hub anymore with the spacers. Has anyone had any failures, to me if a stud or spacer breaks, the lugnuts will become missles.

I used arrowcraft spacers in a 2.5'' and had no problems. There spacers had a lip on them that required you to bore the dodge dually wheel out or use ford dually wheels beacuse of the bigger center. The lip actually supported the wheel and centerd it up and i paid 215.00 directly from them. Also alot pullers around here will air down one of the tires bolt on the other wheel and then air it back up. Nobody that i know seems to have any trouble.
