Me and about 10 other people started running EFILive months before you even knew what it was; Im aware of what it can do. So chill out.

What is your oppinion of why it failed?
 
I know this is an old thread, but I have a little idea.

A doubt the keepers would just "fail" and drop the valve. I will assure you though, if the cam lift was enough or the spring broke or it was revved enough, the keepers can hit the valve stem seal; this makes the keepers and retainer stop moving down, but the valve travels farther toward the piston.

That might explain the massive amounts of foreign debris and the missing valve seat. I.E.: Valve drops out of cylinder head, pushed into head by piston, snaps into pieces, piece gouges out seat ring, other pieces proceed to install holes in various components, the end.
