Dynoed The new motor

Dynoed my new motor with a 62/65 ddps 175s and a 160 pump. Made 543 and Im over fueled. Pretty happy with the set up but there is alot of tunning to go. Iam going to be trying a few injectors over the next few weeks and see what happens. Then its 64 time then twins soon.
 
sweet. thats pretty much what mine'll be except i got the 200's instead of the 175's. you're gettin me anxious......
 
BTW...my p-pumped, CR head, 24v was dyno'd today too...it lost about 50HP off the initial runs...not sure why. :(

wouldn't sweat it at all. set up only has 4-5 pulls on it. We haven't even had time to do any tuning. :D
 
I know it'll get worked out...might have to find some spare DV's and plates and other goodies to take to KY.

I just hope I don't pee my pants when I get to drive it!!! LOL
 
I have been plaing with dvs to I think Im going to try smaller injectors with where im at and see what happens. Its pretty close to my vp fuel only, but I think I can get it around 600 with the 62
 
Well I have been messing with the truck over the last few weeks....I havent been happy with the power band and it is very smokey to drive. Got my new injectors in and made a pull 558,1350. I start the pull at 25psi at 1900rpm, the line is flat and makes just over 500 when I start the pull. Im very happy with it now, Got a 64/71 coming for it. Ill put it on with no changes other than the turbo.

Did anyone get a chance to dyno the 024's against 181's or 191's?
 
No but brett and I want to. Maybe if Bretts up to it after work tom night we will see.
 
Well got on the dyno tonight....Made 609 the first pull and made a second pull after bumping the timming to 29 and made 612. I need to put twins or a bigger charger on. I run out of air on the top end with the low comp.It still drives like a stock charger, so Here comes a bigger charger.
 
What was the timing on b4? I wish I had an ADJ pump gear then go play

I was at 26*. If i get time today im going to try 32*. Im not really sure what the injecotrs are. They are just some 150hp injectors I got from a friend. They dont clear up at all.

Are these numbers with a 62mm charger or do you have a larger one now?

What DV's are you running?
 
It is a 64/71. Im going to try a k31 out next and see what happens
