East Coast Pullers at Buck Motorsports Park 6-6-09

For those who don't recognize my user id this is Mike Ayers. My first pull was about 250 feet or so when my incooler boot ruptured. The first pull was actually in my hero gear 6 low to see if the new injectors made a difference. Didn't know the boot blew open and hooked again as last puller. Tried in my usual gear 3 hi but couldn't get the turbos to light. Found out why on Sunday.

i have been reading about pulling for 4-5 years now and when it came to 6spds the standard gear to use was 4th low, and for a slightly loose track use 2nd high range, and on a real loose track or those with big marbles...5th low. I have never heard of anyone pulling in 6th low or 3rd low.

curious about your reasoning for this mike? have you ever tried 4th low?

With my setup 3 hi puts me in a good rpm range. Any gear lower than 3 hi and I hit the rev limiter. 6 low even felt ok til the boot blew.

I have a diverter box to switch between my stacks and tailpipe and the the box hasn't been sealing right. I'm redoing the exhaust now and putting in 5" turbo back and a better box I just built.

Anyone got the rules for The buck?
I cant download them for some reason
I dont wanna travel all that way to find out some crap.. I've heard horror stories
