ECM swap 2012 to 09-07.5 cummins

Has anyone swapped their ECM and wiring from a 4th gen ram for an 07.5-09? I tried searching and really did not find much so I figured I would ask. If no one has done it...what do y'all think? Is this and easy plug and play install or a royal PITA?

Lots of work just to have efi. I know efi kicks arse but dang. No different than the early common rail guys upgrading to an 06-07 ecm I guess

you need to keep in mind the cm2200 in the 10+ is the ecm/tcm in one unit, where as the 2100 and earlier 6.7's have a separate tcm and ecm. I am sure it can be done on a manual truck, but good luck making your 2012 work like it did off the showroom floor, i am sure there will be huge issues with the can bus system, gauges, hvac, ect
