ED 62/68 and Snow Fishtailin

looks like that was alot of fun to make that video, but it sounded like your truck was breaking up? looks like its cleans right up though.

Definitely a blast! :evil

With 20 degrees, 181s, and plate half way back in the 887 pump, it doesn't like to go much over 3200 and I was flurting with that a few times in the video. With no load in the new loose converter sometimes the hesitation during part throttle shifting causes the same sound. Hope that's what you were talking about the other sounds are me pedaling it to stay away from big time wheel hop.

I bet you weren't out on Aaron's road after that dyno doing burnouts either were ya?

Im pretty sure he is the last person to care about people having fun with their trucks. Im guessing he was being a smartass.

Tim

Oh and technically, that wasnt him.LOL

that explains it. I used to screw around in parking lots like that all the time, but i never have a camera man with me or its dark out, so i can get any good videos. lots of fun!

I was before, during, and after on the way leaving!!

Tim I hope he was kidding.

He said he was being a smartass. Even though if Nick had a post count of about ten, im pretty sure that would have been how the thread turned out. They allways do.LOL

How is those twins coming along Doug?

No dyno day this year. You are more than welcome to come do a burnout in front of the house anytime though - they oiled over the remnants from the last one. The road looks kind of empty...

62/68/14?

Where can I get a little more info on these guys.. I'm interested.

Yeah, I see that you posted that above.. Not sure how I missed it. I'm a Ra-tard.

Couldn't find any prices.. These more, less, or about the same as a phat shaft?

The variables make it easier to plan a charger for your truck and get the total price. That approach works better for us since we tailor them to your specific truck the best we can.

I don't want to waste your time engineering one if they are considerably more than your standard phat shaft.. I'm looking to get something to run for a while as a single, and eventually put something a little mo bigger under it in the future.

What does just a standard, "plain jane" 62/68/14 run? I'm interested in the 68 as a good comprimise between the 65 and the 72. HX-40 style downpipe?

No more wheel hop desired

After getting stuck about 90 times in the past two storms traction/ladder bars of some sort are definitely in the plans for future upgrades. Wheel hop is horrible!!!

Will the caltracs cause alot of suspension binding during offroading? Would I be better off with longer ladder bar type devices like the tuff country pieces? I like their price and don't want to even consider more than $450 for the whole deal.

What about the frame issue? I don't pull just recreational offroading and some future mud bog races. Is it likely the caltracs bolting up to the non-boxed portion of my frame are going to cause me any issues there? Will the ladder bars bolt up to the boxed portion?

This truck is my daily driver and will tow from time to time.
