EGR deleted and now geting a p041B

Deleted the egr and dpf and the only code we are getting is a p041B witch is a egr temp 2 code has anybody else ever got this code?

What tuner are you running?

The truck did have a xrt pro on it and we took it off and put a gearbox(dpf-r) tune on it and with both tuners the code still came up

were you running the easy tunes with the XRT Pro?

Yep on 60hp

Easy tunes do not support EGR delete, only DPF.

Sounds like DPF-R doesn't support it either

So it needs yo be ran on 120 or so

No, it needs to be run on the standard or hot tunes. Running the "Easy" set of tunes does not support EGR delete

EGRT2 sensor is on the right rear of the motor. It's a pain in the ass to replace and is not deleted as part of standard delete function. It's actually a cool feature to have as you can monitor EGTs through the ecm.

ahh, thanks for the info Lee. I run a MM, so I guess I'm constantly monitoring that sensor
