Electrical Problem

Hi guys,

I got a 2004 6L at the garage right now and while driving the radio, instrument cluster and electric windows and more thing except the heater quit working.

Engine running fine, cruise control working, flasher, headlight, taillight too.

I guess the ignition switch or some relay, common problem ?

Ive seen this problem twice. Both times ive replaced the instrument cluster. What type of information system do you have? Alldata? Get yourself a diagram. Here is a hint for you, the instrument panel controls the accesory delay relay which supplys power to the window switch and the radio.

If you find the cluster to be bad you will need an IDS to replace it.

Does the heater work or not? It is hard to understand what you are saying.
