Eliminating Smoke

any thoughts on getting converter loosened up, so you can spin the motor faster, get a little more spool before you start getting into load? or you could try the od switch, helps make the truck down shift to generate rpm, and thus, spool.

His problem has always been too much timing.
 
Well I finally got the smoke under control Mostly! Turns out I had a leak at the turbo gasket Soapy water spray down works great for finding leaks! Amazing how a little leak can throw off a tune!
 
Mostly Just towed 100 miles and the trailer was coated with soot! Damn it So I dropped the timing across the board and my mileage dropped to 15mpg and feels weak!
