Empire Diesel Sled Puller update

Looks good. Even going with now sheet metal. Motor looks like it is right at the max for moved ahead!! I can move mine ahead 13" from where it is now.
My visual tape measure thru pics tells me it meets rules for NADM 3.2, PPL 3.0, NADM Pro Mod, NTPA Mod, all meeting the guidelines with an inch to spare. Leaving all options open on undecided mind.
Looks good. Bet the sheet metal was cheap.
actually I pretty much stole the sheet metal, GM blems never been on the road never had VIN #'s Wasnt really planing on building this truck this year but things are falling into place quicker then anticipated.

All except for the cut tires. But damn they look sweet. If I could afford cut tires I would for sure buy them and run with mods and get my arse handed to me. But the price of those tires and wheels are not pretty!!

By the way. If you put a ford diesel in a chevy bodied truck you really are worse than the western WI boys!!:bang

torque converter bolts came loose

I had a Profab on order and was not thinking it was going to be done in time for when we where looking to bring the truck out but Larry is finishing up our setup and should be ready in a couple weeks so dont need the other one. I got enough cash stuck into this thing any parts laying around when all done will be for sale for sure.

The truck is a 158" wheel base. Ran into a little set back today but nothing major. Shooting for middle of Aug with fingers crossed.
