Empty gauge hole needs filled

I have fuel, rail, egt on the a-pillar. boost and drive pressure on the steering column. and trans temp, oil pressure and water injection pressure in the cubby hole

It is the pressure in the exhaust manifold which in turn drives the turbine in the turbo. For simplicities sake.

It is monitored by tapping into the exhaust manifold much like monitoring boost.

so I have a boost guage that is tapped on he exhaust manifold already is that the same thing ?

ok i'm brain dead I installed these guages 6yrs ago & thought I remembered what I did :bang guess not ... my pyro is tapped on the manifold NOT my boost guage. so what type of guage would be used to monitor drive pressure? and what is the "safe" range of drive pressure

Just use a boost gauge, a 60psi would cover a good range.

You will want to use copper line for a good bit, lets say 6' of copper line, put a few coils into the line. This is done to allow the exhaust gas to cool a bit before entering your gauge. From the copper line use a compression union and then run nylon line into the cab to hook into the gauge.

You want drive pressure to be at a 1:1 ratio with your boost pressure. (i.e. 40psi boost : 40psi drive)

wow thanks, more involved then I thought but worth monitoring, ill be adding this to my summer list of "to do" along with tranny & diff temps.
