Estamation of horsepower?

A good buddy has a 2000 24v 3500 quad-cab dually 5-speed.So far I know he has a Smarty on level 4 and an Edge j/a on level 5.Defuel set at 38psi boost. Also has a brass puck clutch, 4" exhaust, and FASS fuel system. What hp range would he in? I'm
Curiouse cause he wants to race me. I don't wanna get blown out of the water.

BTW my truck has predator rkl program 90ddp's and billet trans. With 5" exhaust.

If thats all he has, no injectors? I'd say 350hp & you will smoke him bad.

190 RWHP stock for a 2000. Edge is good for 130 RWHP. Defueling set at 38 psi will hurt him a little so I'd say 310 HP.

You ought to be able to kill him with just the tuner on tow setting plus your 90 hp injectors.

You also need to consider egts. Does your truck run hot?

Oh ya egts get toasty. I'll hover around 1400* if I keep it at WOT in OD for extended periods but going thru the gears I see 1100 generally. 1/4 mile race will be fine I think.

turn ur chip off and run him with just injectors. that might be a close race.

Ya I know so his obdII port is broken so it's stuck now.

Smarty stacked with Edge on 98.5 thru 2002 trucks does not add much if any HP. Some trucks lose a few ponies, some gain a few. It seems like JLent picked up a few HP over 3K rpm with the smarty stack but that doesn't help much in a drag race.
