2007.5 3500 6.7,having trouble with my etc. the lightning bolt came on about 2 months ago and ive hade rough idle and didn't think much of it. now the thing barely starts. made sure the butterfly valve was opened and it was. then took it to the shop and they said its the throttlve valve controller ? can i just put on an afterstock intake manifold?

I wouldn't think the valve would cause a hard start, but I could be wrong. I also think you'd need to delete the EGR stuff with an aftermarket intake manifold. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can comment.

lightning bolt is also tied in with batteries/voltage issues
