exhaust brake question: do they get things hot?

have u guys with egt guages noticed things getting warm when using the brake? is that something you need to be careful for?

Not a problem at all, had a remote mount BD on two different trucks,key here is no fuel very little heat,at high rpm "2000 +" temps can go below 300 and it for sure works better on a stick truck.

No problem with mine in 8yrs.never gotten hot.I have a remote brake also.
