Exhaust...to stack or not to stack?

When I put stacks on my truck there were only a few people that had them around my area. Unfortunately they are becoming more and more popular, and now it seems like everyone has them up here.

Agreed

i agree. If your on the interstate-dont go with stacks.
.

Agreed

stacks are fun for about 45min... then they're fun for about the first 5-10 min of driving at the begining of the day.

Any other time, they suck! (blow?)

really sucks not being able to sit on the tailgate or even lean on the truck to hang out and bench race for fear of getting black spots all over your clothing.

sucks having a headache after 30min of driving

sucks having a hole in your bed

etc.

Agreed big time.

I would like to have my exhaust out the back again.
I've grown out of the loud stack. I would like to talk to the people riding with me instead. ( Well, when she rides with me it's comes in handy )
Nevermind the fact that everybody has stacks now .

I love the sound of my stacks, but am considering changing to an under the bed setup just for the fact that they are way too popular up here. If you don't care that they are popular, I say do it, but I find it to be irritating when all you see is diesel trucks with stacks. $.02

same down here! i was the second guy to have a set of stacks in my hometown, now everybody and their dogs brothers brother has a set! and BOTH gas and diesel... and also the style too.. ok im done complaining lol! but you should try out a 5 inch turbo back setup. friend of mine has it and it sounds really good!

I already shot the stack idea down. I didn't know they were that bad [loud, sooty etc.] My brothers D-max was sweet! It wasn't too loud & never got dirty. It was the kid in me trying to get out, was only considering it....definately not now.
