Explain ?

Seems like there wasn't much load on it so it probably didn't get too terribly warm..

It is a good sled, and YOU, Mech, are one of the reasons it was there, and not another company's!!
And then you dont even show!!!

Yes, the sled was hydroplaning, the rain was coming down harder, so we either were going to cancel,or hook whoever was in line. We hooked em. Matt was the lucky one.
Just enough rain to float the sled, but not enough to stop the truck from digging through to dry material.

Besides, the crowd LOVED IT.:rockwoot:

BTW, first time a Duramax has ever won any class other than WS at that track, at any pull.
Coop set all kinds of records that night.

Uh... yeh that old orange pos needed to be recycled. Sad truth is the Old Blue Mack is twice as old and twice the sled.
Trust me I wanted to be there. It was either drink beer and set on the beach or have to look at your mug. I... went to the beach. :hehe:

Performing for the crowd is what it is all about and pushing these trucks without busting takes balls - which Matt has or had that night:hehe:

If you know your truck and the conditions it shouldnt be a problem! That night it was raining pretty hard by that time that it was pretty cool and the hydroplane didnt put much strain on his truck.

It was a great show end for the crowd!

I applaud all of the pullers that night:clap:

Wow...how did I miss this one?

I really appreciate the retarded comments made by non-pullers, who drive trucks that can't pull anything, regardless of where they are made.

I showed up.
I waited through the rain.
I hooked to the sled and did what I was supposed to do.
I stopped when the flagman told me to.

I ain't apologizing to anyone for anything.

I dont think anyone was bustin your balls personally...just wondered how it could happen.

Because you can and why not run it out to 465'?! Its all about having fun an puttin on a good show right? I think that would satisfy both of those criteria. Sweet runs!

ricer powered so called truck pulling a stupid old truck around? Did I miss something? LMFAO

Well Dustin, when a guy beats me at the track, I'll take a good ribbing, that's life.

But when you have keyboard jockies that wanna rip on your win and your truck with absolutely no reason except being an asshat, then I call BS. Especially when we know that at the pulling track, 6.0 Fords are "so called trucks" that can't pull their way out of a paper bag.

If Sinner wants to rag on me then I suggest he come do it on the track.

That's funny.

I can't wait to read all the comments from the Dmax guys on the video about how great the Dmax is now...

Where was the nearest Ford?

Around 250' back IIRC!:rockwoot:

I can't stand it when people do that. One truck, one track, one sled, one night, it is what it is.

Brand warring is about the most retarded thing on earth.

Yeah, for real....it's horrible on you-tube...just about every diesel video (well, any automotive vid in particular) is loaded with it pretty heavily.
