I finally have been able to start on the F350 recently-

Some of the details are- '96 Cummins 12 valve, Dana 80 from '97 ram 3500, Nv4500 5-spd, Ford Dana 60 converted to factory style dual wheel, '96 241DHD transfer case. I am about ready to set the engine, after rebuilding it. That is about it for now, hopefully I can get more pictures as I make progress.-Nicholas

Thanks! I hope to get her going soon, but I keep finding more stuff to rebuild on it! -Nicholas

Yah, with close to 400,000 on the clock, I guess she deserves a little extra attention:cool:

more progress

I made it a little further on the F350. I installed the engine a couple weekends ago, and bolted up the new south bend clutch and transmission tonight. Got a few more pics, ignore the nasty looking thermostat housing and valve covers, they were just put on so I could set the motor. -Nicholas

I bought them from FORDCUMMINS.com, they aren't exactly what I was expecting when I got them, but it helped move things along a little faster.

im toying with the idea of putting a ve 12 valve in a truck my father just picked up. he wants to keep the e4od though, the truck is a 94 turbo idi 7.3. currently trying to find an engine...

Jamesl, We have a '93 W250 complete truck that would make a great donor. PM me, and I can send you more details if you are interested._Nicholas

Ok, you all probably saw the other thread I had about the crummy motor mounts I bought from FC, and clearance problems i had with them. So here is my solution. I made custom mounts for the frame of the truck to accept a stock style motor mount from a '94-97 12v on the drivers side, and a stock style '98.5 to '02 24v passenger side mount on the passenger side. It gives me plenty of clearance around the oil pan, and about 3/4" between the valve cover and firewall. Now I can finally start moving along on the rest of the installation:rockwoot:._Nicholas

looks good nick. custom mounts are the ONLY way to go, puts it right where u want them.

Thanks, these put it right where I wanted it, and I don't think I will have to worry about them separating if I want to make some power.-Nicholas

I have been ready since I took the first bolt loose. I have put most my seat time in it pushing in and out of the shop.:bang

Got a few more pics. I polished some stuff while I was waiting for the turbo. I have started mocking up the twins, just don't have any pictures of them yet.
