i have a 2004 f250 ext cab and was wanting to know if i needed the f350 flat blocks or tapered or if it wouldn't make a difference. I installed a leveling kit about 3 months ago and the front it still higher than the rear
thank for the advice

I have set in storage that I used before I changed my springs, or you can use an add-a-leaf

I can't tell for sure from your avatar.......

Is it a short bed with a one piece rear driveline?
(needs tapered)

Or a long bed with a two piece rear driveline?
(needs flat)

Looks like a short bed from the little pic.

Mine is like yours, CC SB, but now 1 pc driveshaft :hehe:

on piece drive shaft. the factory blocks under it know are flat i believe

Always best to measure the angles instead of just guessing. Grab an angle finder and get it accurate.

Yes. Put an angle finder on the yoke at the transmission. Then on the driveshaft. Then on the flange at the pinion. Get the angles to cancel each other out.

so the flat block will work even if i have tapered ones know. i may just have to shim them to get the correct angle back

The flat block may work. Hell the tapered block might even need to be flipped around the other way. Also remember that with leaf springs you will need to angle the pinion down an extra degree to get it to be where you want it under cruise speed load. It's more of an art than a science. However, if you have a traction bar that you can adjust some preload, do it so you can paintain a more constant pinion angle.
