Fans?

currently runnin the flex-a-lite electric fan setup for the 7.3 powerstroke on my 6L and has been great.
 
Well I only do a little towing with the truck and on some weekends go truck pulling and drag racing.But most of the time its just a lot of daily driving with it.
 
What disadvantages have you guys found with the electric ones? Honest question. I have no idea.
 
For a daily driver (no towing) electric fans are just fine. I'd suggest you run gauges, say an Insight, to watch what happens.
