Fastest 60' time?

Slicks are 33.5X17X16. Truck with me in it is approx 4900 lbs. Leaving the line with 25-30 psi of boost and Nos. Have a 47RE trans in it with a manual VB. leaving the line in 2nd gear not 1st. Pulled a 10.9 that run. Next run a pooched the transmission. still moves but make bad noises. pix should be up soon at NHRDA site.

well i can update my 60' time now. went to centerville and launched the little G56 at a 35lb boost launch spun the crap out of all four and cut a 1.79 on 35's.

what do you mean when you say manual valvebody? That is a new one to me, how is it controlled?

Basically the trans will not automatically shift from 1-2, 2-3. Lockup and o/d are controlled by switches also. If I pull the shifter into 3rd (or drive) the transmission will be in 3rd gear. Same goes for 2nd it will remain in 2nd.

My quickest launch was a 1.68, but I usually see low 1.80s, high 1.70s. I wish I knew what I did that was so special to get the 1.68. :hehe:
