Fastest MANUAL TRANS 1/4 mile times

Just for comedy relief, can I add my Jetta's numbers to the list? Best so far is 17.21 @ 79.72, #2 only, Front Wheel Drive. I do have a hotter tune now, hoping the break into the 16's next time I run it.

Hmmmmmm well, its just over 8k with me and a full tank, HTT 62/71/13ss over s480 with race cover, the new Floor-It stage 3, II 5x10s, Hamilton springs and push rods, ARPs, AD 150, tnt-r, mp-8, Southbend DD 3600 Diaphram solid hub, stock trans (on borrowed time), and not enough seat time :hehe:

and I dont know the hp/tq yet. Itll be on the Johns mobile dyno (Floor-It) at the Midwest Diesel Power Challenge at BIR on June 25/26.

How about you??
 
8000lb+ with a reg cab dually? Damn good MPH in the 1/8, congrats!

Yup all of 8k on a CAT Scale. Bigger tires, Gooseneck, traction bars, subs, etc etc... goes down the track just like how I drive it down the road... fingers are crossed for LOW 12's :woohoo:

Had the 4/5 syncro replaced last year while the motor was being rebuilt. I hurt the syncros way back in 06 when i when i still didnt know how to behave with my truck doing a burn out and trying to shift and missed but didnt give up on the gear. Racing it never gave me a problem but i dont use the clutch while daily driving and it would miss every now and then just daily driving with out the clutch. all is well now! Trans has 51,000 on it and more drag passes than i could even imagine to count, but my honest guess would be in the low hundreds.

Thanx Man, In that run it actually kinda bogged down and lit up a few feet out, on my second run i stalled it out and on my third that day i got kinds a pissed and came out real hard and blew the tires off dang near to the 60'!!
 
Guess I'm the only gear banging Ford worth posting. It'll be 1.5 weeks til I take my 2010 to the track, but I have numbers from my '08. It had intake, tunes, and straight pipe only. Not to mention 37" mud tires. LOL

When it ran the 12.6 it dynoed 765hp. It now dynos 902hp and is a completely differnet animal, but I'm like you about the transmission. It's on the second one and I don't want to put a third one in it.

Truck weight was 8600lbs. last time I checked. Hot lapped the truck 6 times like a moron the night of the 13.0 cuz they were trying to shut down the track as soon as we got there. 13.1 on 4th lap, 13.0 on 5th, and 13.1 on 6th. Didn't have time to turn up the programming and was out of water meth that night so I'm gonna try and make another run out there before i put the twins on so I can say I got into the 12's with only a single 62.

PS: ya'll have some bomb diggidy times in your 6 speed nice work.
In my opinion anybody can get in an automatic and push the skinny pedal for a fast time...it takes lots of skill to get these numbers in a diesel 6 six speed so good work fellas keep it up

Reason I ask, I have low mileage G56 from an 08 sitting here and am thinking of swapping.
I figure if your G56s are holding up to 700-900 hp at 7000-8000 lbs they should handle 500-600 hp in a 6500 lb 1st gen.
 
Ok correction on my weight. It weighs 8200 with half a tank and me in it. I thought my number was a little high so I went and reweighed it yesterday. Guess the truck was having a fat day last time I weighed it

ran a 14.4 @ 96 MPH with stock turbo, stock injectors, stock cp3 and 37's.
im headed to the track in about a week and will get some new times with the new mods!
