fastest with just a tune??

My first pass ever, with just a 310 tune and air intake I went 12.8.

With a trans and 310 tune I've gone 12.4.

Probably would be quicker if I could get a better 60ft then 1.8.

This is my favorite stock with a tune truck.....
A magazine guy looking at one of my videos. Cool.

Darius put a lot of thought into that truck and it ran damn good. It was amazing how fast he could shift through the gears.

This was my best before the injectors disqualified me:

The Buick caught me right at the end. LOL

I really think that the idea of what is really stock is what is the concern here...... Stock is stock,, plug in a over the counter tuner and go... not having a built tranny,, or anything else.... not only that,, but even with a stout efi tune (even with Rob tuning it, whom I personally think is very hard to beat at the efi game) I dont see any Duramax hitting much over 500 hp...... and 500 hp in a qc sb truck isnt going to run low 13's period

Yes the allison is on borrowed time in stock form, but i ran 12.7s with a ppe tuner like 5 years ago with a built trans. I know the allison holds it back stock, but to say you cant run low 13s with a hand held tuner is a joke. There has been many to run low 13s on a stock trans, not many passes, but it can be done. An air intake is not going to gain you 1/4 mile times with a duramax.

I agree. No Dinosaur motors.

Hey BIGR, didn't you run a 12.90 with like a 2.4 60ft with your 2wd truck that everybody forgets you have?

yeah, 12.95 @ 108 with 2.3 60ft . put the first tune in it at the track.
