Now I'm not sure which numbers graph to post, so I'll post them both... Both are corrected numbers one just corrected to the same correction factor that Jason used when backing up his 763 on a single 64 numbers.

I will say that I was a little disappointed by having to start my pulls so high (1700-1900 as it seems), but my truck wanted to downshift into 2nd at 1400 where I wanted to start... I wanted to play with my in cab adjustment I rigged for my VGT and see what kind of low end torque I was making.

This one is corrected for 30* F, 35% humidity, and Barometric pressure of 30.50"

Either way, I am pretty happy considering I have a $200 set of nozzles and a $200 turbo...

Set up is as follows:
131s
18*
100 plateFF
AFC mods
5x.014s set to pop off at 3800(personally would like it higher, but I didn't have enough shims)
60/60/VGT turbo (HE451VeTi)
Dave G's billet tripple disc
3.73s
33x12.5 15 BFGs

Looks like more incentive to get my billet input sometime soon... :doh: Though I would like to know what my uncorrected numbers were if anyone can do some backwards math :poke:

Oh, and I only hit 1250* on the pyro, so I plan to try to hit 500 #2 only. Anyone else think a set of 4k springs and DVs will get me there?
 
That should say alot about the VGT turbos. One of my charts fro a 475 hp run had the same torque 200rpm more. That was with a 24v with cam too.

So the second one was the "diesel corrected dyno dynamics number to match dynojet numbers". The first one was the equivilent to gasser version

then they apply correction for atmosphere. Call them up and ask for the atmosphere correction. I suspect it's 0.98-ish. So minus 2%, 8hp.

Exactly my thoughts... Though I reallty wanted to start lower, around 1400, to really show off the low end torque that my SOTP dyno registers LOL

Because since it was cold the correction factor would actually TAKE hp from my uncorrected numbers rather than add.

I kind of figured it was something like that... I didn't complain when the charts read 20hp and 43ft-lbs higher with the other correction factor :hehe: Though I can see why they are used to gasser corrections, obviously a gas performance shop; they've only had a handful of diesels on the dyno. Fact is I almost didn't fit on the dyno since the rims I have my tires on have a tid bit of offset :doh:

BTW sorry for not letting you know when I was going to hit the rollers... And that 8hp you mentioned would that be on top of the diesel correction number for a total of 430(ish) uncorrected, or added to the other one for 410???

EDIT: does anyone else think that is a pretty flat curve? That and it seems to have fueled pretty hard to 3100(ish) which makes me happy considering I have the poor man's 3k GSK (washers)...

Is that exhaust leak coming from the turbo flange or after the exhaust housing outlet somewhere down the line?

If you leak before the turbo, you are leaving HP and spoolup on the table.

If the leak is after the turbo, no big deal, just makes your heater and ac stink when you idle at a stop light too long.

Nothing to worry about, just a broken V-band clamp on the down pipe...
 
not bad for the money, you have into it, i would say a set of ddps magic delivery valves should throw you past 500

I may look into those, but I bet they are close to what I plan on doing which is get a set of 181s, then machine the shoulder on my 131s down to .030 or .040 and put them in the 181 holders. I`m sure that between that and a set of 4k springs I`ll be well north of 500 :D But I think I`ll definitely wait on those until I get my billet input...
