My name is Will, I'm from southeast Texas. Some of y'all probably know me from over on Cummins Forum; I've been a member there since 2011. (same user name)
I've done some reading on here off and on, and thought I'd make an account.
I'm 21, and do fleet service for a local construction company here in town.
I help out my dad with our small cattle herd; currently running about 30 head.
We've got a '98.5 2WD dually, 5 speed. It's got 101,000 miles, and pulls hay to the house, and cows to the auction, and my truck when it breaks down.
I've got a '91.5 single cab 2WD, originally a Getrag, I swapped an NV4500. It's ugly, and needs a lot of work to make it "nice," but when I lean forward really hard, and hold my tongue just right, it should be making ~450 HP at the wheels.
Power adders consist of a 62/68/.7 SX-E that has already failed on me once, and some 81 LPM 6x.013's. All the usual pump work and supporting mods, P/S intercooler, 3" plumbing, 4" straight exhaust into some home brew 4" duals. Yeah, that's about it.
I did dyno it back when it had everything it has now, minus the big sticks and turbo. It made 282/692 with stock sticks and an HX35. I'll get it back on the dyno this fall. Gotta wait til it's cooler outside so I can hopefully break 400 whopping ponies.
