Finally over 700

Congratulations on the new number. That is really good for a 64!!!!

Thanks guys. Boost was 54, 55 psi and I think the DP is very high and was pushing the gate open. I used to run without a boost fooler but anythine over mid 40's would defuel without my pressure box on. I have thought about twins and also have been thinking about a s4?? as a single with an external gate.

Joe

Adding a low pressure (75 or 80 -- probably 80 if you have that much fuel) would be a really good way to go.

Here is the dyno sheet. The first run is on 9. The second runs is sw7. Third was sw 7 with the boost elbow open. Fourth run is the modified sw7 with the boost elbow closed. I saw 54psi on the 4th run and have seen as high as 60psi. On the fourth run the egt's hit 1400. On the first run the egt's hit 1500.
Seeing those temps on the dyno tells me that I need more air, when I go race this thing I will be 1800 plus by the end of the quarter.:badidea:

What happened at 96mph? HP dropped but then went back up. Were you loosing some grip on the roller?

Thanks Ron, maybe I will catch you one of these days. What is this new project you are working on?

Joe

My motor just hit 80k miles. I figure it's time to start getting another one ready. What it will be depends on what information i can gather. The climate for non common rails has gotten kind of ugly. Information is scarce on new stuff, but I am making progress.

Congrats Joe! Nice numbers, now get big primary and let her eat!

Thanks, I think I am at the limit for this little 64.

May go with a 480 or maybe a new 483, or might go with a larger single. I am looking at all options right now.

I don't think I spun the tires on the rollers I think the dip is where the DP overcomes the spring in the WG and pushes it open.

This is great to see! I was going to dyno mine at Garmons today but my turbo just got to me from HTT ( bad pucks) Good Job on the numbers!:Cheer:

Joe has a STRONG truck. Marco writes a MEAN program. It was fun to watch !

Thank you Sir, maybe next season I will make it up your way and come by and see the shop. Isn't there a big event somewhere near you? It was great meeting you and the others. I will be contacting you about some more air here soon.
