Firepunk comp 1 stator seal

I just got my fp comp1 back and was about to install the torque converter and noticed the Teflon sealing ring on the pump stator was missing. Is this supposed to be omitted? I stopped my install and messaged Lavon but I'm not sure how often he checks his messages and I would really like to get this thing installed this weekend.

Doug, we remove the stator seal on 48re pumps. It allows you you to run a 47 or 48re converter. We're in Texas for world finals, you can message me on my personal Facebook page if needed.
