We turned our new truck up to max power on fuel last night at our local track. Truck didn't quite get into the 8's like we had hoped but a 9.06 @ 156 still made us all extremely happy.

Khaos Diesel first full power pass

With some more track and seat time we should be getting this thing to run consistent high 8's on fuel only.

Congrats to all involved, thats awesome. Can you tell us more on the setup?

The truck is the old reg cab short box bully dog truck from way back in the day. We've made some chassis improvements and safety improvements on it. Engine is a RPS Diesel comp 6.4 cummins featuring a Hamilton solid block, 6.7 bore, carillo long rods, RPS ported head, RPS spec'd cam, manton valve train, Banks side draft, banks air to air intercooler, custom oil system with large remote filter, 2 40 row derale coolers and a peterson pressure relief valve. Water cooled head with full size rad. F1 300% over injectors, Dual T&C stroker pumps with modded and multifeed rail. Turbos are a billet 471/87 1.25 T4 over a S594/110 1.60 T6. 60mm turbosmart gate on the manifold and another 60mm turbosmart gate on the hot pipe. 06 ecm with tuning by Zach at starlite. Trans is a 48re built by my local builder using a goerend converter and suncoast reverse manual valvebody. That's the basics lol.

What does it weigh?

He means 2550 kilograms LOL

I love the basic nature of the engine. Its mostly all practical parts.

It has traction issues now. Starlite is tweaking to help that.

HP calculator says 1400+ at the wheels:rockwoot:

Yup, it usually makes 1450 on tune 3. Tune 5 tends to give them 1650. It has been dynoed many many times.

Stop by and see me one day Will.

Hell of a run there. Love that MPH at the end and reeled in that other truck quickly. You guys had 40 mph on at the end of that run over the other guy. That is how you know your making some power. Looking forward to see what you guys do once the launch is figured out.

Was there watching the run. had a few good shocked remarks when you ran that 9. don't think anyone was expecting that. Congrats on the hard work.

Yes, the truck back halfs like crazy. The 1/8th was 5.94

5.94 x 1.6 = 9.50 ( thats the nhra method )
5.94 x 1.56 = 9.266 ( many people use this method )

It went 9.06. Better than expected for sure. It pulls really hard up top. The track is 2200 feet I believe

That truck is pretty nasty- cant wait to see it progress!
