floor located lockup switch

hey guys im interested in putting my lockup switch on the floor . i did some searching and found this switch JEGS Universal Floor Mount Dimmer Switch - JEGS

my question would be what would i do with the extra conection ?

ik that my 79 camaro has one also but what about the 3rd pole on the switch ?

From the looks of it, the center terminal is the common terminal. Wire the ground to that and the tranny side to one of the others, and you should be good to go.

i just went to auto zone and got a dimmer switch for a 79 ford. i just ohmed out the switch to see what i needed and used spade connectors to wire it up.

thanks guys . i just went to oreileys and got the switch for 5 bucks ! hope to get it wired up tomarrow
