Florida Dyno Day Jan 10th

im somewhere around 1,000 hp in my mud truck but i also have 3 stickers on the back window so thats kinda unfair! :woohoo:

Dude I have seen your truck up close. With the three stickers and that black on black look, you should be pushing around 1500hp...EASY!

I might be alot of things...........but Skeered ain't one of them. I've got a brand new motor sitting in the shop floor waiting to be put in. Thank the Lord I am fortunate enough to be busy. Believe me, I'm trying to share my good fortune with other's. I'm hoping to at least get everyone else's truck's finished so they can dyno. I'm personally shooting for the Suncoast event early next year. Any sooner will depend on a lot of if's, and thank's for thinking about me. Gary

You need me to come lift that engine up and set it in the truck for ya?

It's looking like I may need some help here soon. Gotta get Morse's truck done, and a few Powerstrokes out of the shop. Then I'm bringing Ol Whitey in the shop, locking the door's, turnin the phone off and gettin afer it:bang I'm already tired. WW

hey brad if yer tired o waitin bring it over here:hehe:i dont get to go on vacations

I decided to try and tackle the job myself instead of having Gary do it all for me. I did need help and have many questions for him while doing the job.. Most of the time, the answer was DUMBAZZ figure it out.. haha.. Big thanks to him for helping me out.. Sooo.. After installing twins, almost immediately blowing the head gasket, and then installing a new head, the rear main seal took a dump.. haha.. I took the truck to Cope Customs for the rear main seal install.. Bobby pulled the trans to find the flex plate was cracked in 9 places.. This was a "heavy duty" reinforced flex plate.. haha.. So now it's getting a new one, again.. It's nice to have friends.. Gary and Bobby both have helped me out a lot lately and I really appreciate it. Their shops are Southern Diesel in Lakeland, and Cope Customs in Bradenton. If someone needs an install or a fix, they're both up for the job.. With their help, I believe I may make it to the dyno day.. :Cheer:

niiiice..we talked about all this before didnt we brad? glutton for punishment....oh the pain....it feeeeeels sssssooooo ggooooddd!

haha.. I see why it costs a lot to have a head gasket replaced.. It's not very fun, and it takes a long time.. Atleast for me..

The pizza guy here. I went right over to Gary's the day after T-giving but he had a backlog and a vacation on the way. My timing needs sent me over to Twisted Shifter. Truck should be done soon. Wish I thought a dyno pull was even remotely necessary.

Was able to meet Brad (Morse) right after he blew his gasket. Pretty truck and a real sleeper.

Maybe one day--till then, I 'll be sitting in the stands...skeered.

Wish i could make it to this dyno. But my duramax cant hang with the big dogs so im gonna keep it at home on the porch this time

dont be a sissy boy...at least youll kno where ya stand..if mines fixed ill pull the dyno ....................................................................................maybe
