Converter and VB as a start and start saving your change for a built unit later, once you find out how easy (and cheaply) you can make power with a Cummins you will need it :evil

On the stick, yeah, just a clutch, up to the 05's IIRC had the NV5600 which is about as bulletproof as you can get.
 
Just some info.....98-01 Dodge trucks usually have a 53 casting engine block which is prone to cracking under heavy towing conditions. Mine did. Also 98.5-02 trucks have a vp44 injection pump which fails if it loses fuel pressure & the fuel pumps are junk & fail very often. You will need to upgrade the fuel system to have reliability. Other than that....great trucks!
